Noted author Victor Hugo once said, “Life is the flower for which love is the honey.” We don’t have anything as amazing love in today’s article. However, we do have information on the many uses of honey. Made from bees, of course, honey is packed with positive qualities that make it ideal for many home remedy situations. Perhaps we can modify Hugo’s quote to say, “Life comes from honey”? One note of caution: do not give honey to very young children as there is a risk of botulism in their immature immune systems.

These days, many amateur athletes and weekend warriors turn to specialized sports gels for an energy boost. However, nature has provided its own gel: honey.
