1. Cortina in Italy

If you find yourself in Italy in the winter, no matter how brief your stay may be, you have no reason not to visit the Cortina. Cortina is the place for the rich and oozing with glamour. Skiing is mostly an after lunch desert for foreigners. The lifestyle in Cortina is simply magical; wake up late, ski all morning, take a lunch break and ski again and then drink till sleep calls. 2. Courchevel in France

This location is the biggest in the world for skiing when you conglomerate the four towns; Village, Le Praz, Moriond and Courchevel. Of the four, La Praz is the most popular because of its ski jumping hill in the 1992 Olympics. 3. Megève in France

This is another location in France that will fascinate you and probably the best place to spend the remaining part of your Christmas holiday. Located in Southeastern France region of Rhone-Alps, it offers and elevation that blends well into the prehistoric locations you would often see in movies. There is the Michelin-star restaurant known as Flocons de Sel which used to be a farmhouse that offers mouthwatering dishes for your relaxation and your nightlife is not left out with Bar le ChaleZannier by the corner.

4. St. Moritz in Switzerland

St. Moritz is popular for a number of things (even a cigarette label). One of St. Moritz bragging right is the dramatic sunshine and dry air of this ski location. It is crowded by expensive boutiques and a favorite for Russian billionaire. Take a break at the Kulum hotel while listening to cool piano sounds and try your hands on the casino. St. Moritz is not for everyone with a night at the 5-star Kulum hotel going for as high as CHF 2,120. However, a visit to St. Moritz will allow you rub shoulders with the high and mighty.
